Lakhani Medicare "La-med^TM", is part of around USD 90 million Lakhani Vardaan group, headed by Mr. P.D. Lakhani.

The group spans across seven segments viz. Footwear, Detergent, Apparel, Retail, Auto components, Real Estate and Healthcare. The group has nine manufacturing plants across its segments. Over the past 30 years, we have evolved a strong corporate heritage of commitment to society and it is with this in mind that forayed into the healthcare sector with the manufacture of highest quality of medical consumables and medical healthcare equipments.

The group can boast of a proud heritage of a phenomenal 98% retention of its 3000+ staff in its 30 years of operation. In an atmosphere where high attrition rates are the norm rather than the exception, this is no mean achievement. Each member of the La-med^TM team undergoes a rigorous training programme on induction, which includes cross-functional training across all relevant departments and functions. In addition to this, there is a continuous identification of training needs at each level. Tailor-made industry and environment specific training modules are then developed in-house and implemented. There is also considerable two-way knowledge transfer at the senior management level within the group companies, with the La-med^TM team benefitting from years of expertise and skills that are both specific to the industry and the environment. This advantage is leveraged fully in order to create a dynamic and driven team.
